Standard Limited Warranty
Removu America, Inc (“RAI”) warrants that REMOVU devices and accessories (“Products”) are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the period commencing upon the date of purchase by the first consumer purchaser and continuing for 1 year period of time after that date, for the products purchased in the United States, through its appointed resellers. Products purchased elsewhere must be directed to the reseller of the particular unit. Products purchased from a private seller are not covered by warranty.
Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty is conditioned upon proper use of Product by Purchaser. This Limited Warranty does not cover:
(a) Defects or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abnormal use, abnormal conditions, improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand or dirt, neglect, or unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress;
(b) Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage, unless caused by RAI;
(c) Defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use of a metallic object when pressing on a touch screen;
(d) Equipment that has the serial number or the enhancement data code removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible;
(e) Ordinary wear and tear;
(f ) Defects or damage resulting from the use of Product in conjunction or connection with accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by RAI;
(g) Defects or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by RAI;
(h) Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision with an object, fire, flooding, dirt, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source;
( i ) The battery has been charged by a battery charger not specified or approved by RAI or its manufacturer;
Obtaining Warranty Service
Please send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your product serial number and proof of purchase. A proof of purchase is required for obtaining warranty service.
If your product is confirmed as defective, we will repair or replace your device with a brand new product.
If the product is defective within 15 days, we will cover the round trip shipping of your product and replacement.
If the unit is past 15 days of its purchase date, the customer is responsible to ship their defective unit to RAI, and RAI will ship the repaired unit or replacement at its cost.
If the product needs to be replaced, the product must be sent back to RAI before RAI is able to send a replacement.
* If the product(s) is/are purchased in the US/Canada, but carried outside of the US/Canada will void the warranty service unless customer pays two-way shipping.
** Customers who are not in the US/Canada needs to pay for two-way shipping to get warranty service regardless of when the product was purchased.
*** Overseas customers are responsible for customs service fees
