REMOVU K1 App Privacy Policy

Thank you for your interest in the REMOVU K1 mobile application, offered by Essel-T Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies (“REMOVU”, “we,” or “us”), as well as all related websites, applications, and services provided by us and on which a link to this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) is displayed (collectively, together with the Site, the “REMOVU K1 App”).

This Policy describes the information that we gather from you on the REMOVU K1 App, how we use and disclose such information, and the steps we take to protect such information. By using the REMOVU K1 App, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy. This Policy is incorporated into and is subject to the REMOVU K1 App Terms of Use.

 

Information We Collect on the REMOVU K1 App:

  • User-provided Information.
    When you use the REMOVU K1 App, you may provide us with information about you, including your name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number. You may provide us with information in various ways when using the REMOVU K1 App. For example, you provide us with information when you register for a REMOVU account, use the REMOVU K1 App, submit credentials or other information for account verification, upload or share photos or videos on or through the REMOVU K1 App, or send us customer service-related requests using the REMOVU K1 App.
  • User-provided Information About Others.
    We may also collect and store information about other people that you provide to us. If you use the REMOVU Go App to send others (friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.) information that may interest them (such as videos or photos hosted on REMVOU’s video and photograph hosting and sharing service through the REMOVU K1 App, we may store your information and the information for each such recipient. Similarly, if you use the REMOVU K1 App to upload, share and/or distribute content (including photos, videos, or other submissions), and such content contains information about others, we may store, process, and disclose that information as provided for under this Policy.
  • Device-Related Information.
    When you use a REMOVU K1 App, we may automatically receive certain information about your mobile device and use of the application, including a mobile device identifier (e.g., a UDID or IDFA on Apple products like the iPhone and iPad), operating system, version, and other similar information, such as time spent in different portions of the REMOVU mobile application.  We may also collect different types of information about your location, including general information (e.g., IP address, zip code) and more specific information (e.g., GPS-based functionality on mobile devices used to access the Services), as detailed further below.
  • Location Information
    When you install REMOVU K1 application, you will be asked to grant access to your mobile device’s geolocation data. If you grant such permission, we may collect information about your precise geolocation information (i.e., your real-time geographic location), and may use that information to customize the Services with location-based information and features. If you access the Services through a mobile device and you do not want it to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your mobile device, provided your mobile device allows you to do this. See your device manufacturer’s instructions for further details.  We may also be able to collect location information through your use of a REMOVU device.  If so, we will ask you before this information is captured and you will be given the opportunity to turn it off.
  • Information from Other Sources.
    We may obtain information, including personal information, from third parties and sources other than the REMOVU Go App, such as our business partners, contractors, advertisers, and other third parties.

 

Your Choices

If you decline to share certain personal information with us, we may not be able to provide to you some of the features and functionality of the REMOVU K1 App.

You may update, correct, or delete certain REMOVU account information and preferences by accessing your account preferences page on the Site. If you wish to access or amend any other personal information we hold about you, you may contact us at Support Ticket Us (www.removu.com). Likewise, if you close your REMOVU account, you will not be able to sign in to REMOVU websites or access any of your personal information. However, you can open a new account at any time. Please note that while any changes you make will be reflected in active user databases within a reasonable period of time, we may retain all information you submit for backups, archiving, prevention of fraud and abuse, analytics, satisfaction of legal obligations, or where we otherwise reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so. In addition, if certain information has already been provided to third parties as described in this Privacy Policy, retention of that information will be subject to those third parties’ policies.

If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email. You may also opt out from receiving commercial email from us by sending your request to us by Support Ticket (www.removu.com).

We use certain physical, organizational, and technical safeguards that are designed to improve the integrity and security of personal information that we collect and maintain. Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and thus we cannot and do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, viewed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or organizational safeguards.

 

Changes and Updates to this Policy

Please revisit this page periodically to stay aware of any changes to this Policy, which we may update from time to time. If we modify this Policy, we will make it available through the REMOVU K1 App, and indicate the date of the latest revision. In the event that the modifications materially alter your rights or obligations hereunder, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of the change.
